Spinal Blockages: Hidden Causes of Your Pain
Level Up Your Well-Being With Spinal Flow

Addressing spinal blockages is like clearing the debris from a river, allowing life to flow smoothly once more.
Welcome to our journey into understanding the hidden secrets of spinal blockages—a condition that might be the unseen cause of many unexplained symptoms you're experiencing. Today, we'll uncover how the Spinal Flow Technique can help you live a healthier, pain-free life.
If you're wondering what a spinal blockage is, think about a vertebra or joint that normally moves with good, flexible, and supple movement. When there's a blockage, it feels hard and stuck with a limited range of movement. The Spinal Flow Technique focuses on the brain, the spinal cord, and the nervous system because these are the master controllers of our body.
With a spinal blockage, the focus areas include the brain and the delicate spinal cord, which is protected by 33 movable bones called vertebrae. As long as these vertebrae are moving freely, there's better communication throughout the body. However, vertebrae can become blocked due to stress—physical, chemical, or emotional.
When there's too much stress, the body doesn't know how to release it and often stores it in the spine. This stored stress accumulates, creating blockages. A vertebra that once moved freely now becomes stuck due to layers of unresolved stress. The harder and more rigid the blockage, the longer it has been there.
During an assessment at Spinal Flow Cammeray, I look and feel for movement up and down the spine to assess each vertebra. Once I identify a blockage, I determine its cause—whether physical, chemical, or emotional stress—and how long it has been there. Blockages can vary; some might have been present for just a few days, while others might have been there for decades.
A spinal blockage can be similar to a chiropractic subluxation, a sprain, strain, or facet joint dysfunction. Because there's no movement in the blocked area, the body protects it, potentially leading to inflammation and muscle contraction. I feel for lack of movement, heat, inflammation, or hardness in these areas.
We need to remember that peripheral nerves exit the spinal column and extend to organs, tissues, muscles, and the rest of the body. A spinal blockage can interfere with nerve supply. For instance, a blockage in the foundation gateway might cause sciatica, leg pain, hip pain, or back pain. Similarly, a blockage at C1 can affect the nerve supply to the head and neck, leading to headaches, migraines, eye pain, or ear pain.
Once spinal blockages are released, the nerves can function correctly, and healing, which happens inside all of us, is facilitated. Just like how our bodies naturally heal a cut on our finger, they can heal from within when blockages are cleared. Helping clients find and release their own blockages enables their natural healing ability through the Spinal Wave.
Align your spine, feel divine
Clients often leave feeling clearer and more empowered to manage their own healing. Imagine feeling recurring pain or discomfort in parts of your body that seem unrelated to your spine. The cause might be a spinal blockage, which occurs when the body can't properly process stress.
Consider the spine as a sponge for all your experiences. Over time, unprocessed stress accumulates, particularly emotional stress, creating blockages. For instance, someone might have constant headaches that don't respond to typical treatments, possibly due to a spinal blockage near nerves affecting the head and face.
Spinal Flow Practitioners help individuals find relief by using the 7 gateways of the spine and 33 access points to release blockages, guiding the body to heal itself by expanding the Spinal Wave. This technique helps restore natural movement to the spine, allowing nerves to function correctly and alleviating symptoms throughout the body. For example, clients who struggle with chronic headaches often experience incredible relief after just a few sessions. Understanding their spinal health changes everything for them.
Spinal blockages impede nerve function, causing symptoms far from the spine. By releasing these blockages, overall nerve function improves, promoting better health and well-being. Spinal health is crucial not just for individual well-being but for the broader community. Unaddressed spinal blockages can lead to widespread health issues.
Our bodies have an innate intelligence. When we respect and support this natural wisdom, we can achieve profound healing, often preventing unnecessary medical treatments or surgeries. Pairing Spinal Flow with a holistic approach—ensuring enough quality water, sleep, whole food nutrition, and movement that promotes spinal health and flexibility—takes well-being to the next level.
Keep your spine aligned, and you'll feel just fine.
